The portraits are made in monochrome graphics with blurred and chaotic lines. the faces lose their features and become mere hints of the human form. an effect of 'erasure' of personality is created, symbolising how fear can destroy the inner sense of self, making it amorphous and unclear. the portraits are a kind of psychological study, focusing on the inner state of a person rather than their outward appearance. the lines, merging and diverging, seem to convey the flow of thoughts and emotions raging inside the man, depriving him of clarity.
